Mailing List Members
What is a mailing list member? How could you turn into one yourself?
Mailing list members are individuals that have signed up for a specific list to receive regular emails, such as weekly newsletters. In case the software that is used to manage the list allows it, you can also approve mailing list members manually, but in this case such emails may be considered as being unsolicited and reported as spam by the users. Generally, these mailing list members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking a link in the emails they receive, or you, being the mailing list moderator, can manually delete them in case they ask for this or in case you reach the decision that some of the mailing list members should not belong to the mailing list any longer. Each mailing list member will be able to see only their own email address in the "To" field of the emails they receive, but not the addresses of the other mailing list members.
Mailing List Members in Website Hosting
The feature-packed Majordomo mailing list management software that is included with our Linux website hosting will give you full command over the members of any list that you create via the Hepsia hosting Control Panel. You’ll be able to add or remove users by sending an email to majordomo@your-domain.com, so you can achieve this from any place without even needing to log in to the Control Panel. If you import a member manually, they will get a confirmation request that they need to accept in order to subscribe to the list. Once they do that, they’ll receive a message with the mailing list’s policies and features. You’ll also be able to view a thorough list of all your mailing list subscribers and to monitor who’s receiving your newsletters or any other type of regular electronic correspondence.
